A New Medium
This is the first official Ethos Medium post, and will precede regular biweekly updates going forward.
The Ethos project had successfully relaunched and rebranded from Super Shiba last month (will always be in our hearts), and while it takes time to shed the ‘memecoin’ image, we believe we’ve transitioned nicely as an organization onto the next phase of our evolution.
This phase will be primarily looking inwards, developing our products and services to a profitable state, creating a standard of quality within the Ethosystem which we can be proud to promote externally and showcase as an example to others.
There’s a lot to briefly update in this initial post, but individual topics will have it’s own Medium article to dive into the details as they develop. Let’s get started!
Marketing
The Ethos family is proud to welcome Jon (@jdotgram) as our new Head of Marketing. Jon brings a wealth of experience from the Fortune 500 world:
- Over a decade in a senior position within a top 10 tech firm in Silicon Valley
- A career spanning roles in Marketing, Sales & Business Development and excelling in all domains
- Deep connections within the corporate tech and finance spheres, and the ability to engage with top F500 execs
- An early adopter of crypto since 2017 and especially of the Cardano ecosystem
There’s a lot more to add about Jon’s impressive accomplishments and pedigree, but mostly he is highly motivated, structured and methodical in his approach and brings along unique and creative ideas of his own to the cryptoverse. We’re elated to have him within our Ethosystem.
Our immediate marketing goals are the following (but not limited to):
- Build a cohesive picture of Ethos throughout everything from our website, offerings, branding and overall messaging
- Build out Ethos Marketing arm containing two distinct parts
- Firstly, an External Marketing arm to market Ethos and its products & services to potential users
- Secondly, an Internal Marketing arm to feed the IDO Hype-machine and serve potential clients of Ethos’ Crypto-Marketing-as-a-Service products
- Develop a strong marketing strategy for getting Ethos out there in the market as we continue to flesh out our offerings
Just to note, when we speak of marketing Ethos, it will be through a mix of Press Releases, Partnerships, well placed Ads, etc. We are well past the point where TG shills, TikToks or even Reddit posts will help reach the audiences that we’d like to reach. Our marketing approach will take on the form used by other top-100 legitimate crypto organizations; more users = more Ethos utilization.
Of course, much has to be done to align our offering, brand, messaging, etc. We’ll be making Press Releases to major crypto/finance outlets as and when products/services are rolled out and timed to maximize exposure and impact. We want to get out name out there but also ensure that what we are presenting is appealing to our audience.
Audits
The much anticipated Ethos Audits are finally ready to be launched, more on this thread will be released soon and the messaging fleshed out. Here is a brief overview:
- Ethos Audits combine a thorough review of Solidity code with an extensive Cyber Security review
- Our audit methodology (see image below) is comparable to that of some of the much larger (and expensive) audits in the market, yet be priced affordably to appeal to smaller/startup crypto projects
- NFT audit registry (intentionally cryptic)
- Cyber Security partnership with https://darkscope.com/ will be announced via Press Release on official launch
Docs
A whitepaper is sorely needed to fully capture what Ethos is looking to accomplish and describe our various tools and services.
However, rather than opting for a traditional whitepaper, we will house all platform documentation, descriptions of offerings, and all other organization info within our own GitHib Docs page.
As this is a crucial piece of our marketing plans and our trajectory going forward, look out for this to be completed and published within the next couple of weeks.
SafeDexV2
SafeDex V2 release plans are in development at the moment, we will have more info on the functionality, features and strategy much closer to launch.
Website
Since we’re looking to detail all Ethos related info within our Docs pages, it allows us to better streamline the website to showcase a cleaner image and concise messaging.
We’ll be making incremental updates to the Ethos website along the way, and add an Ethos Dashboard to allow easier access to the Ethosystem.
NFTs
With the success of Meme Lordz, and just looking at the wider market, it’s obvious that NFTs and NFT Gaming are going to be a huge part of the crypto use case for the foreseeable future.
Ethos isn’t just DeFi, and we have some very exciting NFT offerings that are currently in the works across multiple chains, more info will be provided as we near completion and launch.
In addition to these NFT plans, we’ve always had the desire to bring an NFT marketplace into the Ethosystem. We had completed one earlier on (a couple of months ago), however, it just wasn’t up to par with other marketplaces already out there. We don’t want to just create an NFT marketplace for the sake of having one, we want to ensure that it adds something unique. For this reason, we will continue to work on this idea to perfect it.
Finally
We’re looking to build from the inside out, we have a lot to offer to the Cryptosphere and we’re only just getting started. The Ethos family (approaching 25+ members) are all super motivated and capable of executing the plans we’re methodically laying out in front of us.
The future is very bright, especially with the quality of character we’ve quietly brought together over the past few months. None of this would be happening without the hard work and dedication that all of the Ethos family and community are displaying.
